SJBA 5th-8th Girls Volleyball - Fall 2026

Registration is now open for Fall '26 Volleyball. Please note that we have a limited number of spots available to form teams. Once these spots are filled, participants will be placed on a waitlist. If we receive enough registrations to form an additional team, waitlisted participants will be activated. Registration will officially close once all team rosters are full, even if this is before closing date.

Early bird registration is open from May 1st until May 20th!

This program is open to 5th–8th grade girls. Our teams compete in the Catholic Metro Volleyball League (CMVL), which comprises Catholic schools/parishes throughout the metro area. The league consists of two girls' divisions: 5th/6th grade and 7th/8th grade. If you have any questions, please send a message to Maggie Kirk at mkirk@sjbaga.com. Please note that we will need parent volunteers – you can volunteer when you register.  

Team Information: Teams are evenly balanced by skill level with a minimum of 9 and maximum of 12 players. All players receive playing time based on CMVL league rules.

Season Details: The season consists of 10 games played over 6 weeks, with a tournament at the end as follows: Week 1 - 8/15, Week 2 - 8/22, Week 3 - 8/29, Week 4 - 9/12, Week 5 - 9/19, Week 6 - 9/26, Tournament - Weekend of 10/3-10/4.

Teams will typically play two matches each Saturday. Matches follow rally scoring, best 2 out of 3 games. Matches generally begin between 9:00am and 1:00pm. Practice start dates and times will be communicated via email after registration. For more info visit our CMVL page.

  • When are practices?: Practice start dates will be communicated via email once coaches have been selected. Practices are dependent on gym and coach availability.
  • What if a game is cancelled?: If a game is cancelled we will do our best to reschedule and will communicate the new date and time via email.
  • Can I buy a jersey after registration?: Yes, however, please note that if you order your child's jersey AFTER the closing date there is no guarantee you will receive either the size requested or the uniform before the start of the season.

  • What if I need to cancel a registration?: Refund Policy: $20 cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations before 7/19; $50 cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations between 7/20 and 8/14; no refunds after 8/14.
  • Can I get a refund for a jersey ordered?: You can receive a full refund for purchased jerseys before 7/19; no refunds after 7/19.
